The ‘fast four’ for November are
1. Tips on dealing with conflict (if avoiding it isn't an option)
2. A quote we like
3. Gratuitous plug
4. This month’s book review

1. Tips on dealing with conflict (if avoiding it isn't an option) Stop. Take a deep breath and count to three before reacting to an ‘attack’.
Ask yourself: what is the problem? What do I want to get out of this? What does the other person want to get out of this? Ask yourself if there is a better time and place to deal with the conflict.

M PowerMD Karen Morath has added a new topic to her speaking repertoire -'Life can't be all palm trees and margaritas but there are worse gameplans'. It is about 'life balance' - keeping all of the balls in the air while making some time to have some fun. 4. This month’s book review A website this month. Checkout Zoom Info. Having never heard of it, I discovered it when my Google alert tracking me (so very wicked witch in Snow White - who is the fairest??) alerted me to my presence on www.zoominfo.com I was amazed by the 90 per cent accuracy of my profile given I have never provided them with any information.
It's a great tool for tracking people as well as companies and getting biographical details. It's more thorough than Google and this is a boon if you are like me and don't meet with anyone before you’ve Googled them.
